Our split block/garden edging range includes blocks with four sides cut by a diamond, smooth finish, with the two ends split on a block splitter which gives a rustic look. The size of these blocks will vary and can be used for a low wall, i.e. two blocks high with mortar in between, or for garden edging.

Split Block/Garden Edging

Split block is usually sawn on two sides and is random length and height. The width is usually 150mm. This product is sold in two categories.

A Class
'A' class block is more uniform in size and is sold by the face m2 on pallets. Minimum sale is four pallets. Pallets weighing approx 2 tonne each to the landscape yard. Available in smaller quantities from the landscape yard for domestic use.

B Class
'B' class block is totally random in shape and size. This block has sawn sides and is the off cuts of other blocks and profiles. This product is normally sold by the tonne with a minimum pickup of 13 tonne for the landscape yard. Available in smaller quantities for the home handyman.

Both products are of a size that is easy to handle and may be used to build houses, create entry statements, dry stack walls, garden edging and feature walls.

Sandstone is an easy stone to work with and these blocks can be easily split or sawn to suit your desired effect. This is achievable by the home handyman/landscaper with a diamond saw or a hammer and bolster.

Our range includes blocks with four sides cut by a diamond, smooth finish, with the two ends split on a block splitter which gives a rustic look. The size of these blocks will vary from 150mm x 150mm x 100mm to 300mm x 300mm x 150mm and can be used for a low wall, i.e. two blocks high with mortar in between, or for garden edging.

Colours are random therefore a natural and appealing look blending with the surroundings can be achieved.
